Joe Cardana was born in 1969,  started following his mother’s musical talents playing on a Lowrey Contempo-80 in 1977 by copying the Boogie Woogie Bass pattern.

At the age of 16, while working as the janitor at Carnes Piano & Organ in San Leandro, CA USA, he took lessons for 6 months, however he never learned to proficiently read music.  But that didn’t stop him from falling in love with the Yamaha FX-20 Electone.

His mother then added the Celebration C-500 into the mix whereby Joe could perfect his rendition of “Nadia’s Theme” (his first real song).

Sometime in the 80s, the Genius keyboard was added, enabling Joe to get accustomed to accompaniment.

Joe joined the Navy in 1987, thus putting a hold on his musical talents.  Then in 1997, by the grace of God, he found a Yamaha FX-20 Electone for $3000 in Walnut Creek, CA, USA, just before being deployed over seas and changing home-ports from Alameda, Ca, USA to Bremerton, WA, USA.  After 6 months of free storage and 780 miles of free shipping, Joe received his dream organ.

In 2002, after transferring to Everett, WA, USA, Joe bought a Lowrey LX-500 Celebration and retired from the Navy in 2007.

2009 marked another end to Joe’s musical path with the death of his mother. Giving away his two organs, Joe moved back home to California to keep his father company.  In 2013 Joe married Tami the cleaning lady, and moved into a home seven houses down the street from his father.

October 20, 2013 was a special day for Joe.  He was asked to play the "Sweeney Todd: Organ Prelude" for the Amador County Concert Band, of which his father was a member, playing the French Horn.  After three months of practice, for the first time, Joe played in public on the Rodgers 250 Pipe Organ at the Pine Grove Community Church.

After the 2015 Butte Fire, By God's direction, Joe and Tami moved to New Mexico and turned the poorly functioning Contempo 80 into a cat condo.

Joe’s father followed a couple months later and in February of 2017, purchased a Lowrey Marquee for him to enjoy.  After 7 months of practice, Joe presented his first CD album "Anadrac Organ Works, Vol 1" as a present for his father’s 80 birthday.

Now, using his video editing talents, Joe is making music videos on Youtube as “Anadrac Organ Works“.

Joe now resides in Rio Rancho, NM, working as an Escort Vehicle driver for ABCON Mobile Home Movers.

He and his wife are members of the Albuquerque Central SDA Church where he's on the Audio Team and Tami is on the Praise Team.
