Thank you for your interest with the Lowrey File Manager
(LFM). This software is designed to assist with keeping Lowrey Organ Preset and
Music Recording Files Backed Up and Organized.
If you use certain thumbdrives for certain purposes, they can be backed up for
storage in designated folders to eliminate the confusion around identical
filenames.
If you have Project/Working thumbdrives, they tend to become disorganized and
confusing.
This software will help to keep track of presets by having a “Pool” available
for any and all Preset files.
Copying files can’t get any easier than Clicking & Dragging and with this
software, file name conflicts will be avoided as the software will renumber them
as needed.
The best feature of this software is the abilty to sort
your presets in alphabetical order. Just insert your USB thumbdrive and click
sort.
By utilizing the Windows Operating System’s, User’s Documents folder, nothing
will get misplaced or lost and you won’t run out of room. It can also use the
Recycle Bin for files on your computer and makes a simulated Recycle Bin in the
LFM Documents folder for files on the
thumbdrives.
When LFM runs for the first time, It creates the folder named “Lowrey File
Manager” inside the User’s Documents folder. Within that folder three more
folders are created, “Downloaded”, “Preset Pool” and “Recycle Bin”.
Downloaded: If you get Preset or Music Recording files from
other Lowrey Organists, place them in this folder. They will stay here until you
delete them and you can copy them into other folders or to the thumbdrive.
Preset Pool: The whole purpose of this folder is to keep ALL of
your preset files in one place so you may distribute them on various thumbdrives
as needed. This allows you to create a custom list of preset files on a
thumbdrive.
Recycle Bin: You may have noticed, when you delete files from a
removable device, they don’t go into the Windows Recycle Bin. This folder
simulates having a Recycle Bin. When you empty this Bin, the files are moved to
the actual Bin.
